Solmar Consulting and Korkia plan a solar power park in Orimattila Heinsuo area

Solmar Consulting Oy and Korkia Oy are planning an utility-scale solar power park in the Heinsuo area of Orimattila, Finland. The maximum output of the solar power plant will be around 80–90 MWp of emission-free electricity, which corresponds to the annual consumption of approximately 3,500 electrically heated detached houses. 

The solar power park is planned for an area of approximately 105 hectares in Heinsuo. The project has been prepared in collaboration with landowners, and land lease agreements have been signed for the area. A company named Toiskan Aurinkovoima Oy has been established for the project.  

The environmental, surface water, soil, and landscape surveys required for the permitting process, as well as the archaeological survey of the area, will be carried out in the project area during the summer and fall of 2025. Preparation of the construction permit application will begin in the fall, and the construction schedule will be specified as the project progresses. 

Solar energy can attract new business to municipalities
